Social, Ethical and Moral Considerations for Students

  • During Monsoon parents are advised to send their children properly dressed with raincoat, gumboots and umbrella which is necessary for sound health of the children.
  • Participating in activities outside school. Students are not permitted to participate in any clubs, association without the permission of the school or unless the school has given the opportunity to do so. In addition to this, if an association identifies and need a student they can involve the student, but only after the consent has been sought from the parent and the school.
  • Students are not permitted to participate in public music shows, drama and other such function, after the parents/ guardian request the school and obtain the written consent from the school.
  • A student can appear in films, public shows; record music for music albums, only after consent has been sought from the school. This consent will be given by the school after the role of the student is accessed by the school, when the parents/guardian to the school submits a written request for consent.
  • Every students should obey the laws and principles of the school and respect cultural and moral values of the society.
  • Every students must respect and obey their parents.
  • Every student must obey and respect school heads, teacher and staffs of the school.
  • Every student must show respect and use appropriate language in communicating with others.
  • Every students must be punctual to school and use time valuably.
  • Every student should make good use of opportunities presented to them, be committed and hardworking.
  • Every student should learn to economize.
  • Every student should respect their elders and should show care for the young.

EXAMINATIONS AND PROMOTIONS

  1. There will be four round of weekly tests and four terminal examinations in one academic year. The maximum marks for each weekly test will be 20 and the term exam will be of 100 marks.
  2. The promotion of the students will be granted if he/she brings 45% marks in each subject. will be added at the final promotion of the student.
  3. Any students who fails in more than two subjects cannot be promoted.
  4. If the student remains absent for any exam, test will be given zero and no re-exam will be taken under any consideration.
  5. Final exam is compulsory to attend.
  6. A pupil who fails a second time in the same standard may be asked to leave the school.
  7. Promotion refused, will not be reconsidered under any circumstances.
  8. A pupil who takes or gives dishonest help at an examination will be given zero in the subject and he/she will be debarred from the rest of the examination.
  9. Report card should be collected on the report card distribution day otherwise the student are not allowed to enter the class from the next day until they take their report card.

HOMEWORK

Parents are requested to check their son’s school diary regularly to see homework is copied and done regularly as per given schedule. Homework needs to be submitted immediately on the following day even if that particular subject may not be in routine before the beginning of the first period. Student who fail to submit the homework or found doing it in the class next day will be penalized  with detention.

EARLY GOING

Early going of pupils will be allowed only in unavoidable circumstances. The parent/guardian should get permission from the Principal for the early going of his/her child. Any verbal or written request from persons other than parents/guardians, will not be entertained. Moreover, written requests from parents/guardians sent through messengers will not be considered.

ATTENDANCE

A student must have put in a minimum of 85% of attendance for promotion to the higher class. Shortage of 15% can be condoned by the Principal on medical grounds. Shortage beyond this limit will not be condoned.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Any absence must be explained in the form of a leave note on the page provided for this purpose in the Diary and it must be signed by the parent and should be countersigned by the Principal. Pupils who absent themselves from the school without permission for more than 15 consecutive working days will be removed from the school. Students who are absent themselves from the school without permission for more than 15 consecutive working days will be removed from the rolls.
